As a grassroots, community-sourced initiative, Beaufort's local tech and knowledge-based community lies at the heart of everything that happens at the Digital Corridor. It is this fruitful engagement and collaboration that informs all our initiatives and has created the tech-friendly business environment that is leading to our tech economy growing well above the national average.

The Digital Corridor engages in a range of business, social and education related programs and events to continually nurture our vibrant tech community.

Fridays @ the Corridor

Fridays @ the Corridor is a monthly series of interactive business and technical forums. This event, held at BASEcamp on the second Friday of every month, features topics selected by our member companies, alternating bi-monthly between technical and business speakers. Information about the upcoming subject is posted on the Digital Corridor calendar.

Corridor Bash

The CorridorBASH will soon become a Beaufort tradition. This annual networking event is intended to bring together entrepreneurs, civic leaders, students and others interested in celebrating and growing Beaufort's knowledge economy.

Charleston Free Wi-Fi

Beaufort Free Wi-Fi

While we want you to relax and enjoy the beautiful parks that Beaufort has to offer, we also want you to stay connected. As part of our Wi-Fi initiative, we plan on launching free Wi-Fi within our first year of operating.

Flagship Artist Gallery

BASEcamp Gallery

The Digital Corridor supports Beaufort's visual arts community through the BASEcamp Gallery where local artists are invited to display and sell their work. We host a quarterly artist reception to introduce the newest exhibiting artist and invite Corridor members and community art lovers to attend.

Outreach Events

In addition to hosting our own community-driven events, the Digital Corridor is pleased to support external events that are likewise directly beneficial to the growth of Beaufort's tech economy. Our support can range from social media promotion, to providing meeting facilities and even monetary sponsorships and contributions.
