Talent

The economic vitality, global competitiveness, and prosperity of our community depend on the innovation and skills of our workforce. Companies need well-educated, skilled employees to develop and deliver competitive products and services. The need for skilled employees along with vetted outsourced resources is magnified in the tech industry where the technology landscape is evolving at an unprecedented rate.

LowcountryWorks

LowcountryWorks™, a collaboration with the Don Ryan Center for Innovation and BDC, is a SaaS offering that was initially launched as a locally curated showcase of targeted companies operating in Beaufort County, South Carolina.

LowcountryWorks has evolved beyond the original showcase of targeted companies by giving regional tech and tech-related companies an additional and efficient means to promote their job openings while allowing career seekers from inside and outside the region to share their talent profiles with potential employers in the region.

Cybersecurity Certifications

The BDC is pleased to present cybersecurity bootcamps for all ages. Our certificate programs span from middle school through adult. The courses are well-suited for career-aged job seekers and working professionals, transitioning military members (including spouses and families), or anyone looking to expand their knowledge in cybersecurity.

Game On!

Game On! is a code education program geared toward middle and high school students who would like to learn the practice of game design and development. Students will learn the theory, tools, and practice required to create their own games over the course of five days. Stay tuned for future dates.

User Groups

At the Digital Corridor, we believe that user groups are integral to Beaufort's tech ecosystem. We are delighted to support and facilitate new technical user groups at our BASEcamp facility for meetings along with co-promoting meet-ups through our social media channels.
